Dougherty’s Diabetes Management Program is designed to provide customers who are living with diabetes and their family members, as well as those potentially at risk for diabetes with the knowledge, skills and support necessary to manage their disease for improved health and vitality.
Our professional Diabetes Care Team consists of a pharmacist, registered dietitian, and a certified nutritionist. The team will be easily accessible within the store to answer questions and offer instruction. Team members will teach seminars, full length Diabetes Self Management Training, and Medical Nutrition Therapy. The Diabetes Care Team will maintain communication with each patient’s physician to help ensure consistency and efficacy of care.
Dougherty’s will bill patients’ private insurance as well as Medicare as appropriate for the service offered.
