Kelly Powers and Brad Harrison who lead Dougherty’s Health & Wellness team, supported the thousands of walkers at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation “Walk to Cure Diabetes” at Victory Plaza. Dougherty’s employees, vendors, and generous customers helped raise $3,500! According to Kelly, so many people expressed how thrilled they are that Dougherty’s is involved with the JDRF and are so grateful for the educational resources we now provide to the diabetes community. Dougherty’s Chairman and CEO, David Bowe, walked along with his wife Catherine, and friends Caroline Law, Marisol Olvera, Rosa Olvera, and Melissa Lira. Dougherty’s held a drawing at our booth for an iPod Nano. The lucky winner was Rebecca Tse, who was the team captain for this year’s Halliburton team. Rebecca personally raised over $3,000 for the walk!
