Breathing Easier with Allergies

Breathing Easier with Allergies
Spring is in the air, and with it allergies. Aside from just being annoying, the changing season can cause some serious breathing issues. Your doctor or pediatrician may write you or your child a prescription for a nebulizer machine (compressor).

A nebulizer vaporizes the medicine and allows it to be inhaled directly into the lungs as a fine mist, improving breathing.

Our Home Medical Department offers three types of compressors, including a portable battery-powered unit. If you’re completely clueless when it comes to operating a nebulizer and/or any of its parts, any of our staff members can guide you through the process. Just make sure that you do have a prescription for either the machine or for the medication, as we cannot get you on the road to better breathing without one. If all you’re looking for is a replacement part for your machine, we offer tubing kits which include the mask or mouthpiece, medicine cup, and tubing. The kits are available without a prescription.
